1337X is another best torrent site for download ebooks. If you are looking for Ebook torrents then 1337X is ebook share torrent site. 1337X is a peer to peer torrenting website which works on the BitTorrent set of commands or protocols. It is currently the sixth most popular torrent site in the world. For e-book lovers, this is a paradise. Sample copies, new versions, old versions, blueprints etc. can be found very easily on this website.
With Torrent Funk, you get better opportunities for downloading eBook torrents and enjoy them later at your convenience. Apart from eBooks, this platform can help you download music, files majorly. For genuine users, they provide user reviews and verified status indications. It doesn’t show up on most search engine results, as the front page of this site has adult images inappropriate to be viewed publicly. Ensure while browsing the website about your surroundings, to avoid embarrassment.

July 2, 2013, 18 new sites added, 4 dead links removed and all other links checked and working. I use LinkChecker to check page links and no longer visit each site individually to reconfirm. So, if you find a site that is not as it should be, then please post here in the comments. If you know of a site to be added to this listing, please post here in the comments. If you are the owner of a site that you would like added to this listing, it is better to contact me through the site (click on mr6n8). Also, no site that has an orange or red rating from WOT (Web of Trust) may be added to this listing, per site rules. So please check the WOT rating before posting. Thanks Steve
Bookboon is a great ebook torrenting site which provides free ebooks and textbooks. From the left sidebar, you can directly go to the desired category to locate and download the required ebook. You can also quickly browse popular ebooks, new titles, editor’s pick, highest rated ebooks through the homepage and download any ebook that you like. Downloading ebooks is free and really simple.
I am familiar with BuckBooks but i’m not sure how it relates to That’s My eBook. They are both ebook related websites but totally different in operation. BuckBooks requires you to reduce your ebook to $0.99 to make a sale or promote your ebook. Users are forced to join a mailing list and the site is very difficult to navigate through… not to mention the message “SORRY, BUCKS BOOKS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO AUTHOR SUBMISSIONS. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER.” on their submission page.
Verdict: Most authors will use Amazon to sell their books, but the question is whether to go directly to them, and whether to opt into their exclusive program. More experienced writers seem to say ‘no’ to both of these, but if you’re starting out and not worried about smaller platforms, it might be the easiest option. You could also mix and match this with a platform like Gumroad (see below).

Vintage Cookbooks includes in their collection of vintage cookbooks a collection of vintage cookbooks from the late 1800s to 1950s for children.  These will popup in an online reader, but if you look on the upper left of the reader, there is a link to OPen Library where the book may be downloaded in a wide variety of ebook formats.  No registration needed.

My first eBook did okay (as a Kindle product), but I won’t go that route next time – I’ll sell it as a PDF on website. I know, I’m missing out on tons of customers – but Amazon just irritates me. Plus, if you get some troll who badmouths your book (I had dozens of 5-star reviews and one 2-star by a psycho who never actually read the book), Amazon won’t do anything about the bogus review. Disappointing service from Amazon all round, I’m afraid.
Ok, now we come to the main topic. I am providing you here with direct links to the section on these torrent websites where you can search, browser, explore more for getting free ebooks of your choice. All the below mentioned torrent downloading websites are great torrent files portals and they all are among the most popular and reliable torrent downloading websites.
Amazon Kindle Store. The Amazon Kindle Store lists over one million digital titles. It supports Portable Document Format (PDF), Amazon’s Kindle Format (AZW), and Mobipocket (MOBI). To publish books in the Kindle Store, access the Kindle Direct Publishing site. Royalty rates are 70 percent for titles priced between $2.99 and $9.99 that are at least 20 percent lower than the lowest list price for the title’s print version. For other prices, the royalty rate is 35 percent. Affiliates earn up to 15 percent commissions.
When you go to the homepage of the website, you can download torrent based on their categories. You can choose torrent from any category here as well as you can avail any e-book from any category like life stories, fantasy, education and many more for free on this website. You can not only search and download best ebooks on this website but also share them with your friends as well.
Wikibooks is one of the best book torrent sites out there. the site provides open content e-books that mean anybody can edit the contents of the book. you will find over 2695 books with 56719 pages. A very useful site for students who can find books related to computing, Languages, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science and much more. You will also find cooking related E-books(cookbook) like how to cook chicken tikka etc.
Smashwords is one of the world’s largest distributors of indie e-books with distribution to retailers like Kobo, iBookstore, Nook, and, just recently, Scribd. The company does not currently distribute to Amazon. The advantage to using a distributor is that it saves authors from having to upload their book with each retailer separately. Smashwords also offers consolidated sales reports, which allow authors access the sales information from various retailers all in one place. Smashwords offers royalties of 60% of list price from major e-book retailers and 85% net from sales directly from Smashwords with some exceptions. The company offers global distribution in 51 countries. It offers free conversion to various e-pub formats from a Word doc but requires authors to format the pre-conversion document themselves. It offers a free style guide for this purpose or it will provide a list of recommended e-book formatters who charge a small fee. Authors have the option of selecting a free sample section of their book for readers to give their book a test drive before deciding to purchase. Smashwords also offers a free marketing guide by the founder of the company that includes 41 marketing tips.

Make sure your dates at the free book lists are correct! Most of these posts are scheduled in advance so if your book is not free, you could be blacklisted. Double-check your Amazon ASIN number if the link is correct when you submit to sites (copy and paste from Amazon rather than type it in). You certainly can shorten your Amazon link, e.g. Amazon.com/dp/B008Y15YYO.  However, do not use any of these commercial link shorteners (bit.ly, wp etc. or Amazon affiliate links) for submission to promotional free book websites, they will not accept them.
BookBaby is quite an expensive service in this list, however, it offers amazing quality and lets you keep 100% of the sales. From writing, formatting, and designing to distributing and completing sales, everything will be handled by BookBaby for a price of $149/ebook. Their experts will work side by side to create your perfect ebook using advanced tools and then distribute it to different retailers including BookBaby itself.
In our opinion, this is perhaps the best torrent site if you’re seeking nothing else other than e-books. Be it “Cooking”, “Computers”, “History”, “Fiction”, “Biography”, “Business”, or “Self-help”, you’ll find almost every genre under the sun on this site. Moreover, it has an impressive list of categories for easy browsing; a feature that lacks on the torrent sites mentioned above. You can even search for books as per their author, title, or subject. As of now, there are more than 4,00,000 books, and that is huge! Since this site is dedicated to e-books, its a brilliant option for avid readers.

Hey Paul, I gather from what I read that you are charging 99 cents for your ebook. The most likely reason that people are not borrowing the book is the price. Customers who are involved in the lending program get to choose the book they borrow each month. They usually choose a higher priced book to get for free. If you were going to get 2 books in one month and one was 99 cents and one was $9.99 you would likely choose to get the $9.99 book for free and buy the 99 cent book. This is what KDP members are doing – choosing the books they borrow by looking at the books they want and choosing the more expensive book as their borrowed book and buying the less expensive books.

It may be called as Father of Torrents or No.1 torrent site in the world. It was founded in late 2003; from that time this site ruled the entire Internet world. The Pirate Bay has all kinds of torrents like e-book, games, movies, songs, TV-shows and literally everything you need. The Pirate Bay was banned many times by many governments but nothing can stop them from this virtual world. They got many proxy sites form which they enter into the Internet World.
This website, no doubt, is known to have one the most user-friendly interfaces as well as visual designs in the list of the torrent sites for e-books. Categorized into a wide range of divisions like Genres, Book Titles, Language, Authors, Popular, etc, this website is known to host nearly 50,000 free titles of e-books. And if you yourself are an author, you can surely make use of this website to promote your work.
So the Websites I am gonna tell is completely free to use, explore, reliable and download any ebook torrent. Here I am going to provide you with direct links to the section on these torrent websites where you can search more for getting free ebooks of your choice. "Finding good, reliable torrent sites for eBooks has proven quite difficult. Freebookspot has made downloading eBooks and/or reading them online extremely fast and easy. The layout of the website is very organized and easy to use. The website has a vast selection of eBooks and audio eBooks available for download and makes it a great one stop shop for any eBook you would desire!"

FreeBookSpot as the name suggests is an eBook links library comprising of numerous downloadable eBooks across categories. There are 90 plus categories of books under various genres including engineering, scientific, fiction, programming etc. you don’t have to register with them to download the books. You have a brief and quick registration process and you can create favorites after being a member to mark torrents for future downloads. You can add and share favorite book links here as well.
Smashwords offers a free style guide for formatting your e-book. Although Smashwords encourages authors to keep things simple, you can still create a professional-quality e-book with Smashwords that includes a linked table of contents, NCX navigation, and custom paragraph styling. A couple of years ago, I created an acceptable-looking e-book in about 30 minutes after making some tweaks (usually they involve spacing between chapter breaks) and reprocessing my file three times. If you follow Smashwords' guidelines, you can end up with a professional-quality "reflowable" e-book that looks as good as what many of the big publishers are putting out and reads well on any screen size.

Generally speaking, if a company charges you for publishing your book and is fairly vague about what they are spending your money on, be alert. Once you sign your rights away, it is difficult to get them back. Other than vanity publishers, there are several companies that act as retailers and distributors and offer some publishing services (conversion or editing) as well. There are some things you’ll need to consider before signing up anywhere:

Both, Goodreads and Google+ have a free tool to advertise this event. Just type “event” into the search function on Goodreads, and on Google+ you can see the event planner on the right hand side of your timeline. Set it up a couple of days in advance and send out an email, to all your peers, write about it on FB, tweet it several times before the free days begin and don’t forget to announce it on Pinterest with a nice cover photo of your book.
