Have you often wondered how to get published? If so, ebook publishing might be the right avenue for you to take to realize that dream. Ebook publishing covers a broad range of products, from booklets on psychic readings, to how-to software, to hobby manuals, to choose-your-own-ending kids' books. Ebook publishing might not be an ideal solution for everyone, but don't reject the idea of making your manuscript into a downloadable product without at least considering the pros and cons.
You can set up your own website and sell your ebook directly online. You might make a PDF available to your readers for example. A simple shopping cart or PayPal link and you’re all set. A reader visits your site, they order, and they get a download link and get your book. It’s pretty much all automated, and you simply keep an eye on things to make sure the site is running smoothly.
I should also say that everybody comes to the self-publishing process with a different agenda -- and a different book --and some e-book self-publishing options will appeal to you based on the type of book you have (aside from the iBooks Author reference, this article is slanted to publishing more text-based e-books rather than books with lots of illustrations or graphic images, such as children's books). For those who are publishing an e-book as an experiment or "just to get it out there" and who are less concerned with making money and extracting every last dime out of a sale, aggregators offer a convenient solution to get your book in a variety of e-book stores and roll up your sales into one single record that you can easily track (most companies pay out earnings from e-books within 60 to 90 days; Amazon is 60).

You see, what the big publishing houses do with big offices of editors, writers, administrative staff… and then big printing presses… then distribution centers to get their books out to bookstores around the country… all to hopefully get books in the hands of customers… you can do on the computer you have right now. If that’s not massive disruption, I don’t know what is.
Also, if you have books in print from previous publishing deals, you can get them scanned from print back into Word so you can produce an ebook from that retrospectively. Many authors who had deals over 10 years ago will own their ebook rights, so it’s worth checking your contracts to see if you can publish digital versions, even if a traditional publisher owns your print rights. When we talk about the most famous torrent websites, Extratorrent is known to play the most effective role in comparison to the other torrent websites in many countries. You can use this website to download any free torrent. It has all the information related to the file as for example, the seeds available, the peers and the size of the file on a single line.
This website lacks an option for you to get registered as a user as it is not essential to register yourself on this website to gain access to the million contents they have on their website. Apart from downloading the e-books that you have been searching for, you can share your own collection of e-books and get feedback from the website’s fellow users.

The prefix “wiki” has perhaps already gotten your interest peaked. While Wikibooks doesn’t really have anything to do with Wikipedia, it does have a large database of books under its umbrella for you to enjoy. What’s unique about this source is that you can get e-books in several languages including Dutch, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish. You first have to pick a language and then type in the title you’re trying to find.
Sure, you can be a cheapskate and get a stock photo for your cover, you can write your own book description, with some dose of luck you can even format it properly, but the biggest issue with self-publishing so-called writers is that they still believe showing your script to a beta reader (or two, or ten) solves the problem. It doesn’t. That’s why self-publishers are still loathed, because they produce content of absolutely no quality. Even Sturgeon’s law is a huge underestimation here.
I came here from a Google Search myself. I downloaded my first “enhanced edition” book and I LOVE it! The author included embedded video, etc. So, I can NOT find any help anywhere that tells me how to include such in my own books. I know the bandwidth surcharges with Amazon etc – but I still would like to explore doing that in future books. Anyone know how to include – what the format is for Kindle to include the video, enhanced content, etc?

Scribd has added HTML5 coding, so your document can easily be read on the iPad via the Safari browser (this allows you to use Apple's finger-based, pinch-and-spread touch zoom controls). Currently, the majority of documents posted to Scribd are free to view or download (it's a great way to post samples of your work), but you can sell your work on Scribd as well. (If you want to see an example, I posted a free excerpt of my own book to Scribd. Alas, I should have made my cover larger so it didn't have a white border, but so it goes).

Ebooks are, well, books. But in a format where they can be delivered or downloaded online. You can write them yourself, employ writers, use public domain content, and create your ebooks from many sources. And just about any subject can be covered — just as many, if not more, than what a traditional publisher might release because you can tailor your tomes to niche markets. Travel guides, how-to manuals, mystery, romance, science fiction, self-help, technology, religions… just about any subject is fair game as long as there is a market of ready buyers.

#1 bestselling author John Grisham’s The Reckoning is his most powerful, surprising, and suspenseful thriller yet.   “A murder mystery, a courtroom drama, a family saga… The Reckoning  is Grisham's argument that he's not just a boilerplate thriller writer . Most jurors will think the counselor has made his case.” — USA Today     October 1946, Clanton, Mississippi ...

Lastly, it's worth noting that Smashwords provides free ISBNs. I'm not going to get into a full on discussion of ISBN, which is "a unique identifier" associated with your e-book, but most companies provide a free ISBN for your e-book or roll the price up into a package. Smashwords has a good quick guide to e-book ISBNs that you should take a look at.

Verify your publishing territories. If you are self-publishing and you hold all the rights, you just click, “Worldwide.” If you are already traditionally published, you may own rights in other territories. For example, say you published with a publisher in the US and sold only the US rights, you could self-publish in the UK or Australia or any other country. You can select individual territories and deselect the ones that you have sold to someone else.

'The Book-hunter in London' is the outcome not only of material which has been accumulating for many years past, from published and unpublished sources, but also of a long and pleasant intercourse with the leading book-collectors and booksellers in London, not to mention a vigorous and constant prosecution of one of the most pleasant and instructive of hobbies. The author has freely availed himself of the information in the works of Dibdin, Nichols, and other writers on the subject, but their statements have been verified whenever possible, and acknowledgements have been made in the proper places to the authorities laid under contribution. Both, Goodreads and Google+ have a free tool to advertise this event. Just type “event” into the search function on Goodreads, and on Google+ you can see the event planner on the right hand side of your timeline.
